Margery Keasler is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine practitioner. She has been in practice in Vermont since 1998. As a practicing physician she offers Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Moxibustion (heat therapy), cupping, and Nutritional Counseling. She trained for four years in Florida and China. While in China she completed an advanced graduate study at Heliojiang Hospital in Northern China. Her course work was in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine with emphasis placed on Musculoskeletal, Gynecological, and Respiratory disorders. She has published over 15 articles on the subject of Chinese Medicine.
Upon completion of her four-year study Margery moved to Burlington Vermont from Key Biscayne, Florida and opened her acupuncture clinic in the Kilburn and Gates building on Pine street in Burlington Vermont in 1998.
Margery travelled extensively throughout Asia. At 18 she travelled alone through Europe, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Nepal. It was in Nepal she learned about Tibetan herbal medicine and the reading of pulses and decided to study Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Her office is also used as an Educational site for those interested in learning about Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She holds workshops at no charge geared toward educating the public about Chinese Medicine.
